Logo Refresh
The Savor dinner series is Cincinnati Magazine’s capstone event. I was tasked with refining the logo, elevating the design to better reflect the elegant and contemporary dining experience.
The custom lettering for “Savor” creates a more balanced wordmark, while the bolder lines and looser spacing keep legibility even at smaller sizes. Overall, the new logo is bold and refined, while keeping the spirit of the original design.
Art Direction
The bold use of red reminds the audience the menu is an adventure, a once-in-a-lifetime experience, while the black and white photography emphasizes the luxury of the Savor event. I thought about flavors as music, and used graphic elements to bring spontaneity and movement to the designs.
