Monotremes

zine, illustration, humor

This lighthearted zine reflects the humor found in the unusual mammals called monotremes.

Taxonomic rank is used to classify organisms in a logical manner, describing relationships and similarities between organisms. Every so often, however, there is an anomaly, and things don’t fit together quite like they should.

Monotremes are classified as mammals but they refuse to behave like typical mammal should. These funny little creatures make their own way, forging their own bizarre path. Everyone loves them for their differences, and their oddities are what make them special.
